LA 23, will have alternating lane closures in both directions starting Wednesday May 4, 2016 from: 7:00 AM till 5:30 PM daily, near South Plaquemines Parish High School. These alternating closures will last approximately one month and are for the replacement of cross drain pipes at several locations on LA 23.
This closure will allow vehicles 13 feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Oversized vehicles must coordinate passage by contacting Todd Hountha, of Barriere Construction, at 504-858-72-57.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
