UPDATE: Lafayette Parish - I-49 Northbound - Lane Closure (NOW OPEN)

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that on Wednesday, May 4, the right lane on I-49 Northbound at the Lafayette /St. Landry Parish line will be closed to traffic for road repair in Lafayette Parish between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.

The road will be open to regular traffic with no restrictions to roadway or oversized loads passing through the construction zone.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction sites, and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
