Lane closures: La 511 (Jimmie Davis Highway) Bridge over Red River, Bossier/Caddo Parishes

This is to advise that beginning Tuesday, April 26, 2016, beginning at 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., the La. 511 (Jimmie Davis Hwy) Bridge over the Red River, approximately 0.7 miles West of U.S. 71, will be reduced to one (1) lane of traffic for routine bridge maintenance. This work is expected to last approximately 4 days.
Alternate Route: This closure will allow vehicles 10 feet wide or smaller to pass across the bridge. Larger vehicles must detour using LA 1, LA 3032 and US 71
Safety Reminder: DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
