UPDATE: Hwy 80 between Ada and Gibsland, Bienville Parish

BOSSIER CITY, La. - This is to advise that beginning Monday, April 25, 2016, US 80 from Ada/Taylor to Gibsland will be closed to all truck traffic. This was previously scheduled for Monday, April 18, but has been pushed back by a week.
Truck traffic will be detoured to I-20 from Exit 55 to Exit 61.
Local traffic will be able to use adjoining roadways as necessary around the construction site, which is adjacent to the Taylor Baptist Church.
The purpose of this work is to tie-in the existing roadway to the new KCS Railroad Overpass Bridge.
This work is expected to last 30 days, weather permitting.

Overweight, overwidth loads are restricted to I-20 between these exits.
