Weekend Ramp/Lane Closure

There will be intermittent ramp closures of the I-12 Eastbound to I-59 Northbound Exit Ramp (Exit 85B) beginning Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. until Monday, April 11, 2016 at 5:00 a.m. (weather permitting) while crews install asphaltic concrete roadway.

There will be closures of the inside (left) and outside (right) lanes of I-10/I-12/I-59 on Sunday, April 10, 2016 through Monday, April 11, 2016 (weather permitting) while crews overlay the roadway at the following locations:
• I-59 Northbound outside (right) lane between I-10/I-59 split (Mile Post 0) and just south of the I-59 Rest Area (Mile Post 1) from 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2016 to 12:00 Noon Monday, April 11, 2016. All lanes will re-open Monday, April 11, 2016 at 12:00 noon.
• I-59 Southbound between I-10/I-59 split (Mile Post 0) and I-59 Rest Area (Mile Post 1) from 7:00 a.m. Sunday, April 10, 2016 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2016. All lanes will re-open Monday, April 11, 2016 at 5:00 a.m.
• I-10 Eastbound between the French Branch Bridge (Mile Post 267.14) (just north of Gause Blvd.) and the West Pearl River Bridge (Mile Post 269.81) (near the I-10 Welcome Center) from 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2016 to 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2016. All lanes will be open between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. daily.
• I-10 Westbound between the West Pearl River Bridge (Mile Post 269.81) near the I-10 Welcome Center) and the French Branch Bridge (Mile Post 267.14) (just north of Gause Blvd.) from 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2016 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2016.

Permit/ Detour Section

Motorists traveling I-12 Eastbound to I-59 Northbound will need to exit to I-10 West (Exit 85A), west on I-10 to US 190 B (Fremaux Ave), east on US 190 B (Fremaux Ave) to I-10 Eastbound, east on I-10 to I-59 Northbound.

One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. No oversized loads greater than 12’ wide will be allowed through the construction zone during lane closures.
