The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning on Monday March 28, 2016 at 7:00 AM, construction work will continue on the bridge location listed below. The work will consist of bridge repair. The Construction work is expected to be completed in January 2017. Updates to the Permit/Detour Section are listed below.
LOCATION:
Route: US 171, between LA 28 and LA 111 in Vernon Parish (Structure No. 08580250107162), crossing Vernon Lake.
DATES:
March 28, 2016 – Approximately Mid-May 2016
Permit/Detour Section:
Road will remain open.
Restrictions: There will be a width restriction of 12 feet
