ROAD CLOSURE: LA 3234 (UNIVERSITY AVE.) at the RAILROAD CROSSING, TANGIPAHOA PARISH

LA 3234 (University Ave.) will be closed at the Canadian National Railroad crossing, 1 mile east of US 51 in Hammond, LA, starting 6 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016 through 6 a.m. Monday April 4, 2016 for replacement of the railroad crossing.

Permit/Detour Section:

Westbound Traffic: Take LA 1065 (Cherry St.) south to the junction of US 190 (Thomas Street), west on US 190 to the junction of US 51 (N. Morrison Blvd), then north on US 51 to the junction of LA 3234.

Eastbound Traffic: Take US 51 south to the junction of US 190, east on US 190 to the junction of LA 1065, then north on LA 1065 to the junction of LA 3234.
