The bridge in Chalmette closed today after an inspection discovered structural deficiencies is the LA 47 Chalmette Paris Rd. Bridge at the Chalmette Ferry (between St. Bernard Hwy. and the ferry), not the LA 47 Paris Rd. "Green Bridge."
The Chalmette Ferry is not running this afternoon due to the bridge closure.
