UPDATED: The previous release incorrectly stated that all lanes of I-10 East would be closed during the lighting rehab work.

New Orleans, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the following closures for highway lighting maintenance performed by the city of New Orleans on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 9 AM-2 PM:

Segment 1: Single, right-lane closure of I-10 East main span between Orleans Ave. and St. Bernard Ave.

Segment 2: Full closure of the Esplanade Ave. exit ramp (236A)

Segment 3: Full closure of the I-10 East On-Ramp @ Claiborne Ave. / St. Philip St. intersection

Detour/Alternate Route: Claiborne Ave. or I-610
