ROAD CLOSURE: LA 44 east of LA 3213, St. James Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, effective immediately, LA 44 (Jefferson Highway) just east of LA 3213 (corrected) near the Town of Gramercy in St. James Parish is closed due to damage to a privately owned bridge that crosses over LA 44.
There is currently not timeline on the reopening of LA 44.
DOTD will issue additional information when it becomes available.
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
