BELLE CHASSE, LA. - The Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Replacement Project announces scheduled construction activities and anticipated traffic impacts. As always, these are subject to potential changes.
Daytime Schedule (8:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
· Thursday, 2/15/24 - LA 23 southbound right lane closure from Engineers Rd. to Barriere Rd.
· Friday, 2/16/24 - LA 23 southbound right lane closure from Engineers Rd. to Barriere Rd.
· Saturday, 2/17/24 - LA 23 southbound right lane closure from Engineers Rd. to Barriere Rd.
Nighttime Schedule (7:30 PM - 5:00 AM)
· Monday, 2/12/24 - two-way traffic over existing Belle Chasse lift bridge – Engineers Rd. to Barriere Rd.
· Tuesday, 2/13/24 - two-way traffic over existing Belle Chasse lift bridge – Engineers Rd. to Barriere Rd.
· Wednesday, 2/14/24 - two-way traffic over existing Belle Chasse lift bridge – Engineers Rd. to Barriere Rd.
· Thursday, 2/15/24 - two-way traffic over existing Belle Chasse lift bridge – Engineers Rd. to Barriere Rd.
