UPDATE - REOPENED: Endom Bridge in Ouachita Parish


(UPDATE 10/30/2023): DOTD advises motorists that the Endom Bridge in Ouachita Parish has been REOPENED. We appreciate your patience.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, effective immediately, the Endom Bridge over the Ouachita River in Ouachita Parish is closed due to an electrical issue.

At this time, there is no time frame for the closure. DOTD crews are currently assessing the situation.

DOTD will issue an update when further information becomes available.

Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.

Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
