ROAD CLOSURE: Walker Road at LA 511 (W. 70th Street), Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists beginning on Thursday, October 14, 2021, Walker Road at its intersection with LA 511 (W. 70th Street) in Shreveport, Caddo Parish will be closed.
This closure is related to the ongoing project to improve safety by installing left turn lanes on LA 511 near the Shreveport Regional Airport.
The closure of Walker Road at LA 511 is anticipated to last approximately 30 days, with progress dependent on weather conditions.
Alternate route: Detour signage will be in place.
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the intersection. All vehicles must detour.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
