UPDATE - ROAD CLOSURES DUE TO WEATHER: Rapides Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the following roads have been REOPENED in Rapides Parish following closures related to recent severe weather:
- LA 3170 (between US 71 and LA 1 near LSU-A) - REOPENED
- LA 457 (between LA 3170 and LA 1) - REOPENED
- LA 470 (between US 71 by LSU-A and Robinson Bridge Road) - REOPENED

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
