LA 486; Natchitoches Parish
Control Section 305.01; Milepost 0.200
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that LA 486, Natchitoches Parish, will have intermittent lane closures at the Kansas City Southern Railroad Crossing at the Port of Natchitoches. The purpose of these lane closures is to allow Kansas City Southern Railroad to remove the concrete surface in the crossing. The work is being done at milepost 0.200 and is on control section 305-01. The lane closure will be Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will not be completely closed. The lane closure can accept oversized loads. The lane closure will be identified with proper markings for the general public. All emergency agencies will be notified of the lane closure.
