INTERSTATE CLOSURE: I-220 eastbound from LA 173 to US 71 in Caddo Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, I-220 eastbound from LA 173 (Hilry Huckaby III Ave.) to US 71 (N. Market St.) in Caddo Parish will be closed.

The closure is scheduled to take place from 6:00 p.m. on September 4, 2018 until 6:00 a.m. on September 5, 2018.

The closure is necessary to redirect traffic onto the newly constructed eastbound lanes of I-220 as part of the I-49 Segment K2 project that is currently under construction in Shreveport.

Alternate Route: ALL I-220 eastbound traffic will be detoured to LA 173 (Hilry Huckaby III Ave.) to LA 3094 (N. Hearne Ave.) to US 71 (N. Market St.) to I-220.

Restrictions/Permits: N/A

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
