The closure on LA 742 (Old Port Barre Road) at Little Teche Bayou, between Little Teche Road and Lalonde Road, is NOW OPEN to traffic. Thank you for your patience while we made repairs to the bridge.

PORT BARRE, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that effective immediately LA 742 (Old Port Barre Road) at Little Teche Bayou, between Little Teche Road and Lalonde Road, will be closed until further notice.

The closure is necessary to perform repairs to the bridge.

The detour will consist of LA 743, US 190, I-49 and LA 31. Detour signs will be posted.
