The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that beginning Tuesday, April 18, 2017, through Monday, January 15, 2018, LA 347 (Resweber Highway), between LA 96 (East Bridge Street) and LA 350, will have alternating lane closures in the north and southbound directions for reconstruction of the roadway and shoulders.

The work is estimated to take place from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., daily, weather permitting.

The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12 foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.

The detour will consist of LA 96 to LA 31 to LA 350.
