ST. CHARLES PARISH, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces it will close the right eastbound lane of Interstate 10, the Bonnet Carre’ Spillway, this weekend on Saturday and Sunday – November 19 and 20, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., for bridge inspection.

Motorists should expect delays during the closure. The suggested alternate routes are U.S 61 (Airline Highway) or Lake Pontchartrain Causeway.

All inspection activity is weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
