Judge Seeber Bridge scheduled to close to vehicular traffic for repairs

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will close the Judge Seeber (Claiborne Avenue) Bridge to vehicular traffic from 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, to 6:00 a.m., Friday, November 4, 2016, while the bridge will undergoes mechanical repairs.

Motorists may detour via the St. Claude or Florida Avenue bridges.

All construction activity is weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. DOTD appreciates the motoring public’s patience and reminds drivers to please exercise caution when traveling through work zone areas and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking or biking near the active work zone.
