LA 20 BAYOU CHEVREUIL BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
DOTD proposes to replace the Bayou Chevreuil Bridge located along LA 20 in St. James Parish. The new bridge would have two 12-foot travel lanes and two 8-foot outside shoulders for an overall of 40-foot of roadway. During construction there will be a detour bridge that is 27.5 feet wide with two 12-foot wide travel lanes. The detour bridge will be removed after construction of the Bayou Chevreuil Bridge on LA 20 is complete.
