The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that weather permitting, on Monday February 15, 2016 at 7:00AM, construction work will begin on LA 1204 between Spring Hill Road and US 165. The construction work will consist of milling the existing roadway surface and overlaying it with new asphalt. Temporary alternating lane closures will be in effect as a result of this work and can be expected to last throughout the life of the project which is approximately two (2) months.
Permit/Detour Section
• There are no designated detours at this time associated with this project.
• There are no width restrictions at this time associated with the temporary lane closures.
• Any future lane restrictions as a result of the above referenced work will be addressed in a subsequent press release.
