The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that work on LA 498 (England Drive) is complete. The reason for this closure was to accommodate utility work 1.6 miles west of US 71 (MacArthur Drive).

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that work will continue tomorrow, February 2, 2016, on LA 498 (England Drive). The reason for this closure is to accommodate utility work 1.6 miles west of US 71 (MacArthur Drive).
Permit/Detour section
Local traffic detour will be from England Drive, LA 498, to Enterprise Road to LA 1 North to Dixie St. and back to England Drive. Thru traffic should detour via US 71 and LA 1
.
