REVISED FROM 1/29/2016 PRESS RELEASE
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that equipment issues have delayed the installation of the Four (4) Way Stop at the intersection of Royal Street and LA 1 from the previously schedule dates of February 2nd through February 9th, 2016. Work is being performed to replace the existing light as part of the ongoing construction project. The Four (4) Way Stop will be installed at a later date and another press release will be issued.
The scope of work includes Grading, Lime Treatment, Cold Planing Asphaltic Pavement, SUPERPAVE Asphaltic Concrete, Drainage Structures, Sidewalks, Curb and Gutter and Related Work. This project was bid on 12/10/2014 and the contract was awarded to T.L. Construction, LLC for the amount of $3,868,450.03. There are 260 calendar days allowed for this project.
Permit/Detour section
Local traffic will be maintained at all times and no permitted loads will be affected.
