LANE/ROAD CLOSURE

There will be a left (inside) lane closure on I-12 Eastbound at the Donya Street overpass (Milepost 82.85) on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following morning (weather permitting) while crews set girders.
There will be a complete road closure of Donya Street at the I-12 Overpass beginning Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 12:00 noon until Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at noon (weather permitting) while crews prepare to set the girders and construct the Westbound bridge.
Permit/Detour Section
I-12 Lane Closure:
To avoid construction delays, Eastbound motorists may take LA 434 (Exit 74), south on LA 434 to US 190, east on US 190 to US 11, north on US 11 to I-12.
One lane of traffic will be open at all times. By law, oversize loads are not allowed to travel at night.
Donya Street Closure:
Donya Street will be open South of I-12 from Jackson Road to Lawrence Street; North of I-12, Donya Street will be open from Brownsvillage Road to Sigrid Lane. To avoid this road closure, motorists will need to cross I-12 at either US 11 (Front Street) to the east, or at Northshore/Airport Road to the West.
