SPN H.003107: I-10/I-12/I-59 (FRENCH BRANCH BRIDGE – WEST PEARL RIVER BRIDGE) ST. TAMMANY PARISH I-10/I-12/I-59 Ramp and Lane Closures December 9, 2015 WEEKDAY CLOSURES
There will be daily alternating closures of the inside (left) and outside (right) lanes on the I-10/I-12/I-59 interstates on Sunday, December 13, 2015 through Friday, December 18, 2015 (weather permitting) while crews remove and replace the roadway at the following locations: • I-10 Eastbound between the French Branch Bridge (Mile Post 267.14) (just north of Gause Blvd.) and the West Pearl River Bridge (Mile Post 269.81) (near the I-10 Welcome Center) from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. Sunday through Friday. All lanes will be open between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. daily. • I-10 Westbound between the West Pearl River Bridge (Mile Post 269.81) (near the I-10 Welcome Center) and the French Branch Bridge (Mile Post 267.14) (just north of Gause Blvd.) from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday through Friday. All lanes will be open between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily. • I-59 Northbound between the I-10/I-59 split (Mile Post 0) and I-59 Rest Area (Mile Post 1) from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 noon Sunday through Friday. All lanes will be open from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. daily. • I-59 Southbound between the I-10/I-59 split (Mile Post 0) and I-59 Rest Area (Mile Post 1) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. All lanes will be open from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. daily.
Additionally, there will be a continuation of the following closure:
I-59 Southbound to I-12 Westbound Exit Ramp (Exit 1A) shoulder closures daily. One lane to remain open at all times. Permit/ Detour Section One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. No oversized loads greater than 12’ wide will be allowed through the construction zone during lane closures.
Motorists wanting to utilize US 90 as a detour should be aware that there are load restrictions on the Pearl River Bridges which only allow for passenger vehicles. No larger truck traffic will be allowed.
