SPN H.010709: LA 22 (Madisonville Swing Bridge Repairs)
St. Tammany Parish
November 23, 2015
There will be intermittent closures on LA 22 at the Madisonville Bridge over the Tchefuncte River (Milepost 67.48) beginning on Monday, November 30, 2015 and continuing through Friday, December 4, 2015 while crews repair and replace electrical and hydraulic components on the bridge. Bridge closures will occur weekdays (Monday through Friday) 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (weather permitting) and the bridge will return to normal operations for the weekends.
During this time, there will be no marine openings.

Permit/Detour Section
To avoid delays, eastbound motorists may take LA 21 North to I-12, East on I-12 to US 190 (Exit 63B), East on US 190 to LA 22.
Westbound motorists may take US 190 West to I-12, West on I-12 to LA 21 (Exit 59), South on LA 21 to LA 22.
One lane of traffic will be open at all times.
