I-49: LA 6 Southbound Exit Ramp, Natchitoches Parish, SP No. H.010486

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that starting on Friday November 6, 2015, the I-49 Southbound/LA 6 exit ramp will be closed from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM due to construction work on the ramp. The exit ramp will be re-opened to traffic by 5:00 AM but the lane will be narrowed. Please use caution and follow traffic signs.
The scope of work includes Cold planing Asphaltic Concrete Pavement, Pavement Patching, Superpave Asphaltic Concrete Pavement, Lime Treatment, In-Place Cement Stabilized Base Course, Striping, Guardrail and Related Work. This contract amount of $6,585,490.15 was awarded to Progressive Construction Co., LLC of Alexandria, LA on 9/10/2014.
Permit/Detour section
The exit ramp will remain narrowed after the 5:00AM opening of the ramp to traffic. We anticipate reopening the entire ramp for permitted traffic by Monday morning 11/09/2015.
