Westbound & Eastbound I-10 in St. Charles & St. John Parishes (Bonnet Carre Spillway Bridge) Mile Markers 209 to 222 – alternating (left or right) lane and shoulder closures (1 mile sections at a time) nightly from:
8 PM to 5 AM on Thursday, October 22nd;
9 PM to 7 AM on Friday, October 23rd, and Saturday, October 24th;
while crews perform curb and rail repairs, weather permitting.
These closures have no vehicle restrictions.
Westbound I-10 alternate route is I-310 southbound to US 61 northbound.
Eastbound I-10 alternate route is US 51 southbound to US 61 southbound.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction/maintenance site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
