I-55 Tangipahoa Parish Northbound & Southbound Lane Closures

Northbound alternating left and right lane closures on I-55 beginning at mile post 23 (Elevated Bridge) to mile post 28 (US 51) will be in effect as follows:
Friday, October 9th, from 7 pm until 5 am on Monday, October 12th
Friday, October 16th, from 7 pm until 5 am on Monday, October 19th
Friday, October 23rd, from 7 pm until 5 am on Monday, October 26th
One lane northbound will be open at all times.
Southbound inside (left) lane closure of I-55 between milepost 28 (US 51) to mile post 23 (Elevated Bridge) will continue to be ongoing nightly, from 7 PM until 5 AM, until October 26th for construction of median guardrails.
The southbound outside (right) lane will be open to traffic at all times.
Permit/Detour Section
There are no restrictions to oversize loads. To avoid the lane closure motorists may take US 51.
