Westbound I-10 in St. Charles & St. James Parishes (Bonnet Carre Spillway Bridge) from I-310 to US 51 –
alternating lane closures – left or right lanes and corresponding shoulders (1 mile sections at a time) nightly from:
8 PM to 5 AM on Monday, June 1st thru Thursday, June 4th;
9 PM to 7 AM on Friday, June 5th and Saturday, June 6th;
while crews perform bridge deck patching, weather permitting.
These closures will allow vehicles 12 feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for
regular traffic but oversize vehicles must detour using I-310 southbound to US 61 westbound.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on
the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
