The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that road construction work has begun on LA 480, in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, from its junction with LA 486 to 0.57 Miles South East of LA 3163, for a total of 2.87 miles. It is anticipated that it will take approximately (3) three months to complete the work associated with this project, weather permitting.
The scope of work includes cold planning asphalt, pavement patching, asphaltic surface treatment, superpave asphaltic concrete, drainage structures, and related work. The project was awarded to the low bidder, Madden Contracting Co., LLC (Minden, LA), in the amount of $1,418,904.13.
Permit/Detour section
Local traffic will be maintained at all times but there will be periodic lane closures and minor delays associated with this work.
