Westbound, I-10: Howard Ave. Service Rd.; from Xavier University to Times-Picayune; the shoulder/parking lane will be closed from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday May 8, 2015 and 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM daily Monday May 11, 2015 thru Friday May 15, 2015; Contractor will be removing and replacing handicapped access ramps, concrete curbs, and concrete sidewalks.
This closure has no vehicle restrictions; alternate route – Washington Ave. or Earhart Blvd.; emergency vehicles shall have access to the area; no detour is necessary for this closure.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
