The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning Monday April 13, 2015 at 7:00 AM, weather permitting, construction work will begin on LA 454 from the Avoyelles Parish Line to LA 107. Construction will consist of cement treated base, subgrade treatment, cold planing, asphaltic surface treatment, superpave asphaltic concrete roadway, and drainage structures. Temporary alternating lane closures are expected throughout the course of the project. The project is expected to last approximately four months.
