REMINDER: Crescent City Connection HOV lanes close tonight for weekend inspection (Orleans Parish)

NEW ORLEANS — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) reminds motorists that both HOV lanes on the Crescent City Connection will close tonight, Friday, November 6, for inspection work. The closure will continue through 6 a.m. Monday, November 9.
Motorists should plan for the following closures:
- Both HOV lanes: Closed from 7 p.m. Friday, November 6, through 6 a.m. Monday, November 9, when normal operations are scheduled to resume.
- Right mainline lane, Westbank to Eastbank: Remains continuously closed for repair work on GNO Bridge No. 2, including throughout the HOV inspection closure and after the HOV lanes reopen Monday.
Motorists may experience delays on the bridge approaches while both closures are in effect. Westbound traffic may also increase during hours when the HOV lanes would normally serve that direction.
Allow extra travel time, check traffic conditions before leaving, and consider alternate routes based on your destination and current conditions.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to drive with caution through the construction site and watch for work crews and their equipment. Leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.
