DOTD Announces Marine Traffic Schedule Related to Perry Bridge Rehab Project

VERMILION PARISH, LA - DOTD announces that to accommodate construction activities as part of the Perry Bridge rehabilitation, the bridge will have scheduled closures to marine traffic Monday through Saturday.
The following marine traffic schedule will be in effect immediately and will remain in effect through Spring 2027, weather permitting.
OPEN TO MARINE TRAFFIC (Monday – Saturday)
The bridge will open to marine traffic on signal during the following times:
- 5:00 AM – 7:00 AM: Open on signal.
- Noon – 1:00 PM: Open on signal.
- 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Open on signal.
- 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM: Open on signal with a minimum of four hours advance notice.
CLOSED TO MARINE TRAFFIC (Monday – Saturday)
The bridge will remain closed to marine traffic during the following hours:
- 7:00 AM – Noon
- 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
SUNDAY OPERATIONS
Normal bridge operations will be in effect on Sundays. The bridge will open to marine traffic on signal.
DOTD appreciates the public's patience and cooperation throughout this rehabilitation project. Mariners are encouraged to plan accordingly and adhere to the above schedule to minimize delays and ensure the safety of construction personnel and marine traffic.
This schedule is effective immediately and will remain in effect through Spring 2027, weather permitting.
