NOW OPEN: DOTD Announces Emergency Lane Closure on U.S. 190 at the MOPAC Bridge in St. Landry Parish

UPDATE: The outside westbound lane of U.S. 190 at the MOPAC Bridge is now OPEN to traffic.
OPELOUSAS, La. - Effective immediately, the outside westbound lane of U.S. 190 at the MOPAC Bridge, just east of the I-49 interchange, is closed to traffic.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to make repairs to the deck.
Motorists will be notified once the lane is reopened.
DOTD appreciates the public's patience and cooperation throughout the work zone. Motorists are reminded to use caution when traveling near work areas and remain alert for workers, construction equipment and posted traffic-control devices.
