Improvements on LA 384 (Country Club Rd.) from Big Lake Rd. to 0.3 miles west of Nelson Rd. to begin Nov. 5 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced improvement work on LA 384 (Country Club Road) from Big Lake Road to 0.3 miles west of Nelson Road is scheduled to begin Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026.
Motorists should anticipate alternating, single lane closures between the hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic.
Delays are anticipated along LA 384 while work is ongoing, and motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
Improvements include milling and asphalt overlay.
This work is expected to be complete by Friday, November 20, 2026, weather permitting.
