CORRECTION - LANE CLOSURES: LA 173 (Ford Street), Caddo Parish
CORRECTED DATE - SHREVEPORT, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, there will be intermittent, slow-moving lane closures on a section of LA 173 (Ford Street) in Shreveport.
This slow-moving operation will take place between Pine Street and Hartman Street, and is necessary to allow the contractor to perform preliminary work related to an upcoming asphalt overlay project to repair Ford Street.
This operation is scheduled to last for one (1) day, weather permitting.
The upcoming project for Ford Street, which will provide a variety of roadway and curb repairs, is slated to begin in late November 2026. Once a start date has been finalized, DOTD issue additional information on that project.
Alternate Route: No detour necessary for this work.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
