Beginning at 8 pm on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, the existing LA 544 (Tech Drive) overpass will again be closed to traffic from the South Service Rd. to Woodward Ave. and will remain closed until 6 am Wednesday, November 4, 2026. During this same time frame there will also be lane closures along I-20 Eastbound and Westbound between the Tarbutton interchange and the US 167 interchange.

These closures are necessary to allow the Contractor to continue prep work for the deck of the new LA 544 (Tech Drive) overpass. In order to conduct this work safely, I-20 traffic will be reduced to one lane Eastbound and Westbound. Traffic will then be diverted onto newly constructed diversion roads, then back onto their respective lanes on I-20.
