Alternating lane closures: West Sallier St. between Marine St. and Riverside Drive – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced there will be alternating lane closures on West Sallier Street eastbound and westbound between Marine Street and Riverside Drive from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily, beginning Monday, October 26, 2026, through Saturday, November 28, 2026.
Traffic will be maintained with a flagging operation.
The closure is necessary for crews to install new subsurface drainage structures for the Nelson Road Extension and Bridge Project. Work will be completed, weather permitting.
