US 61 @ Black Bayou Ext. Ascension Parish Construction Zone

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is notifying motorists of potential delays due to a right lane and right turn lane closure on US-61 Northbound (Airline Hwy) at US 61 and Black Bayou Ext. Construction is scheduled to occur Monday, October 19th from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, weather permitting.
This closure is to repair the right turn lane failure on US 61 onto Black Bayou Ext.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
