Road Closure: I-210 at Exit 1B, I-10 Eastbound Entrance Ramp -- Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced a full road closure of I-210 Westbound, beginning at the Exit 1B ramp, from 8 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2026, through 5 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2026.
Detour Route:
Take Exit 1B, I-10 Eastbound, continue along I-10 Eastbound to Exit 26, PPG Drive. Take a left onto PPG Drive and then another left onto the PPG Drive Westbound I-10 entrance ramp.
The closure is necessary for crews to stripe roadway for Phase 1 operations. I-210 will be reduced to a single 12-foot lane for Exit 1B (I-10 East toward Lake Charles) and a single 12-foot lane for Exit 1A (East Sulphur Industries), as well as for the westbound I-210 direct connector to I-10. The closure will be conducted, weather permitting.
