DOTD announces pavement testing work on I-10 ramps and LA 415

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises motorists that pavement testing will continue in West Baton Rouge Parish, with crews beginning work on portions of I-10 and LA 415 on Wednesday, October 7.
Work will take place daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Wednesday, October 14, on the I-10 entrance and exit ramps at LA 415 and along LA 415 from I-10 to Sharlot Road. Crews will alternate between locations as pavement core sampling progresses.
Motorists can expect intermittent lane closures and flagging operations as needed for small, temporary work areas. Drivers should use caution, be alert for workers and equipment, and follow all posted traffic control.
Lane closures associated with similar pavement testing along LA 1 will continue for approximately another week.
All work is weather permitting and subject to change.
