RESCHEDULED: I-10 Eastbound at Exit 101 - LA 182 (N. University Ave), Lafayette Parish, Ramp Closures

Update: This closure has been rescheduled to the following nights, weather permitting.
· Friday, October 16 at 9:00 p.m. until Saturday, October 17 at 9:00 a.m.
· Sunday, October 18 at 8:00 p.m. until Monday, October 19 at 6:00 a.m.
· Monday, October 19 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, October 20 at 6:00 a.m.
I-10 Eastbound Entrance and Exit Ramp at Exit 101 – LA 182 (North University Avenue) will be closed on Friday, October 9 at 9:00 p.m. until Saturday, October 10 at 9:00 a.m., weather permitting.
These ramp closures are necessary to allow crews to perform OGFC asphalt operations for the I-10 entrance and exit ramps.
Motorist traveling on I-10 EB will only be able to access LA 182 via the posted detour route, which includes continuing eastbound on I-10 to Exit 103B – I-49/US 167 (Opelousas), continuing to I-49 Exit 1B – I-10 West (Lake Charles), then take I-10 Westbound to Exit 101 – LA 182 (N. University Ave.).
Motorist traveling on LA 182 will only be able to access I-10 Eastbound via the posted detour route, which includes taking I-10 Westbound to Exit 100 – US 167/LA 3184 (Ambassador Caffery Pkwy), turn south on US 167/LA 3184, then take I-10 Eastbound.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area and should seek an alternate route.
Detour routes will be posted during the ramp closure periods.
There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
