Lane Closure – LA 378 (Sampson Street) – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the southbound right lane of LA 378 (Sampson Street) will have daily closures from the UPRR track to the South Service Road from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday, October 5, 2026, through Thursday, October 8, 2026.
The closure is necessary for the contractor to complete asphalt work and place pavement markings to reopen entrance and exit ramps at Exit 27 (Westlake). Work will be conducted weather permitting.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
