Lane closure: I-10 WB (MM 27 to MM 29.5) at Exit 27 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the right lane on Interstate 10 Westbound from Milepost 27 to Milepost 29.5 (including the Calcasieu River Bridge) will be closed from 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2026 until 7 a.m. Thursday, October 8, 2026.
This closure is necessary to remove detour signing and barrier rail to reopen the westbound exit ramp at Exit 27.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
