I-10 Eastbound and Westbound (Mile Marker 196.9-202), St. John the Baptist Parish -- Roadwork (Centerline and Edgeline Joint Patching)

I-10 Eastbound and Westbound, Mile Marker 196.9 (St James Parish Line) to Mile Marker 202 (Spencer Chauvin Bridge), will have alternating and intermittent lane closures on Monday, October 5, 2026 through Saturday, October 16, 2026, reoccurring nightly, from 8:00 PM- 6:00 AM, weather permitting.
ONE LANE WILL BE OPEN AT ALL TIMES. Motorist may encounter a moderate delay during this time.
Permit Information:
There will be no restrictions on oversized loads at this time and emergency vehicles will have access.
Detour Information:
Westbound traffice may take La 3188 South to US 61 West, then La 641 North, then re-intersect to I-10 West
Eastbound traffic may take 641 South, then US 61 East, then La 3188 North, then re-intersect to I-10 East
