Herbicide application: US 171 NB and SB – Calcasieu and Beauregard Parish

Calcasieu and Beauregard Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced crews will be conducting herbicide application along the median of US 171 Northbound and Southbound on the following days.
- Monday, September 28, 2026: 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on US 171 from Moss Bluff to the US 190/LA 12 interchange
- Tuesday, September 29, 2026: 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on US 171 from US 190/LA 12 interchange to Deridder
