Rapides Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that beginning Tuesday, September 29, at 7:00 PM, weather permitting, there will be nightly alternating lane closures from 7:00 PM until 5:00 AM at the following locations (One lane in each direction will remain open at all times.):
US 167-B at Broadway Ave.
Broadway Ave. and Dallas Ave.
LA 28 at Pinehurst Dr. and Bradley Ave.
LA 28 at Stilley Rd. and Old Holloway Rd.
Donahue Ferry Rd. and LA 3100 (Griffith St.)
LA 28 and LA 3144 (Edgewood Dr.)
LA 28 and Highland Dr.
US 165 at US 167 SB On/Off ramps
US 165 at LA 623 (Paradise Rd.)
These closures are necessary to allow crews to complete traffic signal turn-ons and related work.
All work is anticipated to be completed at these intersections by October 2, 2026, with progress dependent on weather conditions and other factors that can impact construction timelines.
The contract was awarded to Jack B. Harper Electrical, LLC in the amount of $9,040,462.73

No detours or lane width reductions are anticipated as part of this work.
